Chandak ji’s visit to Sriama Vidyakendra, Kalladka, Mangaluru on 3 Jan 2023.
Srirama Vidyakendra was started by Dr. Prabhakara ji Bhat in 1980 from the scratch.
Today they have 3500 students ranging from Shishumandir, Primary school, Highschool, P.U college and Degree college all without any government help.
During his visit chandak ji found that the Kendra is a national example of a value based, innovative and holistic education.
Based on chandak ji’s interaction with students, teachers and the founder, He found this program is a national example of building a new India via new generation.
It is noteworthy that the medium of instruction is Kannada based on the fundamental principle of learning in the mother tongue-Matrubhasha. Which is greatly recommended in the new National Education Policy(NEP).
There is a great deal of emphasis on responsible, clean and moral behaviour at school, home, and public.
In addition to creative academic education Music, Dance, Yoga, Meditation, Vyayam, Martial arts and Games are promoted. The school environment is full of love for nature, patriotic activities and spiritual vibration.
Chandak ji was overwhelmed with this enormous profound experience of Joy and pride. It is a Gurukul like institution which caters value based education which instills Bharatiyata.
